Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.

Special Education Teacher
Internationella Engelska Skolan in Staffanstorp is a bilingual school for students in grades F-9. Our school offers a safe and organized environment, and we are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
We are looking for a special education teacher/resource teacher with a strong commitment to students' learning, health, and development. The role includes working towards a well-functioning student health service to support students' development towards the educational goals.
The main tasks are to:
- Map students' and groups' needs
- Work directly with students in small groups
- Plan, implement, and evaluate interventions
- Coordinate the work with transitions for students starting and leaving the school
- Participate in the school's systematic quality work
- Document in Prorenata
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with a teaching license and additional training as a special education teacher. You have previous experience working with children and adolescents. Previous experience as a teacher and special educator in primary school is an advantage. Very good Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the position.
The work requires that you are secure in your professional role, can work independently, are proactive, and have a good ability to see opportunities in various situations. As a person, you have a good approach and a strong ability to plan and prioritize your work. You have good collaboration skills and an interest in working together in a team with different professional categories. Your approach is relational and focused on working health-promoting and preventive. You are flexible, attentive, and have an easy time building trust and good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
