Hestra Midgårdskolan is located west of Borås city center in a picturesque area. You can reach us by bus from the travel center in 8 minutes. The school celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024 and was built at the same time as the Hestra Parkstad area. The buildings are designed by award-winning Nordic architects.

At the school, there are 430 wonderful students and about 55 incredibly competent colleagues working together for the best of our children. We have a full-sized gymnasium and a library in the building, and Byttorp's sports field is just a five-minute walk from the school.

Teacher for grades 4-6 at Hestra Midgårdskolan F-6

Job Responsibilities

As a class teacher at Hestra Midgårdskolan, you are expected to plan and develop the educational work individually, together with colleagues, and within the work team. Collaboration with guardians regarding students' development and learning is also a natural part of the role. You work daily to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for our students and handle all tasks associated with the teaching profession. Support is available through student health services, special education teachers, and management.

Qualifications

We are now looking for a certified teacher for grades 4-6. You see your colleagues as important teammates and resources in your own development and have the ability to view the organization as a whole. You wholeheartedly support the school's values and let students' learning and well-being be at the center of the decisions you make.

It is important that you are a secure person and value and prioritize relationships. We expect you to be open to meeting children and adults from different backgrounds and circumstances. Since we work in teams, your ability to collaborate and be adaptable is very important. You are skilled at communicating with both children and adults and are used to adjusting your communication to the audience.
