The role requires you to be meticulous and structured. You need to understand the complexity of the regulations while making the handling as uncomplicated as possible and support the managers in handling information management and personal data issues in a helpful manner. The handling of personal data incidents needs to be addressed promptly and requires flexibility and initiative. As a Data Protection Coordinator, you work both based on incoming questions and cases as well as proactively.
You have many contacts in your work and therefore need to be communicative and easy to deal with for those you support. You also need to have good collaboration skills as you will work closely with other Data Protection Coordinators in the authority and with managers and employees in the department.
