About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Your main task will be to teach Danish at the upper secondary level, steps 1 to 3.

You will conduct teaching based on current governing documents, participate in the pedagogical development of the school, and act as a mentor in the class in the Social Science program. The position also includes collaborating with the student health team and other teachers to ensure our students achieve their high school diploma. We consider the student's entire situation and focus on how the student develops in their learning and social context.

The position is 60%, of which 40% is a permanent position at Polhemskolan and 20% is a temporary position at Gymnasieskolan Spyken during the academic year 2025/26.

We are looking for someone who...

... is a certified teacher in Danish at the upper secondary level. You have a positive view of students based on the belief that all students can and want to learn, and you have the ability to create enthusiasm in various learning situations. It is important that you have an inclusive perspective and are well acquainted with the governing documents of upper secondary school.

We would like you to have previous experience working as a teacher at a high school and also have good knowledge of working with adaptations in the classroom and during examinations.

To succeed in this role, you need to be curious and willing to challenge both the students and yourself. You should also be independent, stable, and flexible, and possess good collaboration skills along with a good sense of humor.
