Wilska Company (Mechanized Infantry Company)

Wilska Company is a standing combat unit with employed personnel whose primary task is to train for and conduct military operations both nationally and internationally. The company is a resource for higher command that can solve tasks across the entire conflict spectrum and offers work with challenges, variety, camaraderie, and personal development. To serve in the company, good physical ability is required.

Wartofta Company (Tank Company)

Wartofta trains conscripts and the company consists partly of full-time employed GSS/K. As a crew member of the tank 122, you will practice your specific position both on the training field and during live firings. The company offers a varied everyday life and participates in operations both nationally and internationally in addition to the main service.

Wartofta is looking for:

• Tank Loader, Tank Driver, Tank Mechanic, Tank Gunner, and Vehicle Commander

Tank Transport Company

This is the army's resource for conducting operational and tactical transport on the road. The company's task is to transport the army's firepower where it is needed. These are heavier and wider transports than what is normally transported on the road network. The company has a high ability to act independently both in peacetime and during operations in areas with a certain level of conflict and threat. To serve as a soldier in the company, one must be prepared for the tasks to involve more than just driving a vehicle. A good basic physical fitness is expected from the employee.

Tank Transport Company is looking for:

• Soldiers for the Staff & Supply Platoon; command soldier, supply/fuel soldier, and wheel vehicle mechanic. The company is also looking for transport soldiers for the tank transport platoon.

Guard Company

The company is responsible for the protection and guarding of Skövde Garrison and all shooting ranges as well as external objects belonging to the garrison. Within the company, there are both security guards and military police. Together we work to maintain public order and safety at the garrison. We are staffed year-round, around the clock, and perform live guard duty. The Guard Company offers a job with great variety and challenges when it comes to tasks, good camaraderie, and personal development. To serve in the company, good physical ability and great social competence are required.

Skaraborg Regiment, P 4 has operations from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The leadership is located in Skövde where the majority of conscript training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that in times of crisis and war will lead large parts of the army's units.
