We are looking for someone who wants to teach mathematics and science subjects at Taserudsgymnasiet.

The school is one of two municipal high schools in Arvika. Approximately 430 students attend the school, distributed across eight national vocational programs and introductory programs. The school works for good well-being and a sense of community for students and staff. We conduct our education in close collaboration with the local business community.

Responsibilities

You will teach students in mathematics and science subjects in the introductory program, and the position includes mentorship. As a teacher, you will be part of a team and work closely with other teachers, but you will also work independently. Work with the school's mission based on the curriculum, such as value-based work, is also included.

Qualifications

You are a qualified teacher in mathematics and science subjects or have equivalent qualifications. We prefer that you have a teaching license for grades 7-9 or high school. Your ability to express yourself in speech and writing is good. Good IT skills are a prerequisite, which you can also use in teaching. You see the school as a whole where we all have a shared responsibility for students' development. As a person, you are committed, structured, and solution-focused. You are clear in your leadership but also have the ability to create good relationships. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term employment for the autumn term of 2025, starting from 2025-08-12 to 2026-01-31, with a possibility of extension.
