Hammarlundens Middle School is growing and will have about 490 students distributed across 21 classes for the school year 25/26. Hammarlunden 7-9 is a goal-oriented school where students and teachers jointly shape the future. The unit with newly built sports halls is expanding, and the construction of a new school is underway; the new school will be ready for occupancy by the school year 25/26.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Hammarlundens Middle School, you will teach Swedish and English in several classes and be a mentor in one of our classes. In your mentoring role, you are expected to take significant responsibility for the students' social situation and knowledge development. You will be part of one of the school's work teams where collegial learning is prioritized, and collaboration between teachers in work and subject teams is a fundamental prerequisite. Teachers at Hammarlundens School are expected to play an active role in student health work of a promotional and preventive nature, focusing on accessible learning environments of physical, pedagogical, and social types, as well as work with school attendance.

Your teaching is characterized by a language and knowledge-developing approach, and you see all students' opportunities for support and stimulation in teaching as a given. You have the ability to adapt teaching to the group's needs through guidance and stimulation, as well as extra adaptations.

You are an active and unpretentious leader who prefers collaboration where collegial learning is at the center. You apply a student-centered approach and see students' participation in their own learning as a given.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is qualified and certified to teach Swedish and English for grades 7-9.

You should be flexible, have good collaborative skills, and a positive attitude. You should be good at building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians, and have a strong interest in children's and adolescents' learning.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis during the recruitment process.
