Description

We are looking for 3 special education teachers for grades 7-9 at Minneberg School.

Minneberg School is a modern school located in the city center of Arvika. A middle school tailored to each student's needs. There are safe spaces for recovery, community, activities, and relationship building.

Responsibilities

As a special education teacher, you will be part of a student health team and be responsible for the special education work in a specific grade between 7-9. The role involves close collaboration with the school's working team to meet students' needs by mapping, adapting, and organizing support. Your tasks include providing support to students and maintaining regular contact with the student's guardians and school staff, which means you coordinate the student's schooling.

Qualifications

You are a qualified special education teacher, or you are currently training to become one. We prefer that you have experience working in grades 7-9. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good collaboration skills, are self-driven, and value building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Personal qualities are important to us; we see that you are flexible and creative with a structured approach. You have good pedagogical insight, take initiative, and are solution-focused.

Conditions

The positions are permanent and will start from the autumn term of 2025.
