Lundsbergs School is a modern boarding school with over 100 years of history, located in the picturesque Storfors municipality in Värmland. Here, 260 students attend grade 9 and high school. We have about 100 employees who together create a dynamic and inspiring environment. The school is run as a foundation and is characterized by strong community and high well-being.

About the position

As a teacher at Lundsbergs School, you will have the opportunity to teach motivated students in small groups, where you can provide quick feedback. At Lundsbergs School, we have short decision-making paths and greater opportunities to influence than in many other schools. Our teachers work collegially, and subject teams develop teaching together.

The boarding school also provides you with unique opportunities to build relationships with students and, together with the dormitory managers, follow up and provide feedback to the students.

About you as a candidate

We are looking for someone who can inspire students with great commitment and wants to be part of a highly driven staff group. You are a certified high school teacher with previous experience.

You have a secure leadership in the classroom and possess good pedagogical skills that inspire and engage students in learning based on their different needs and can vary your teaching.

You are relationship-building and understand the importance of creating good relationships with students, their guardians, and colleagues. You strive to work formatively and are engaged in your subjects. You have a tangible understanding of the pedagogical challenges of your subjects.

You value close collaboration with colleagues and are receptive to others' knowledge, always striving to develop your teaching and participate in collegial learning.

We would like you to have good experience working with digital tools. You are organized and meticulous.

Qualifications

• Certified high school teacher in Swedish/SVA.
• Previous experience is required.
• Driver's license (B)

Employment conditions

• Permanent position at 100% with a six-month probationary period.
• Start date in August 2025.
• Seasonal employment
• Salary according to agreement, collective agreement exists.
• Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
