Junibacken Preschool is beautifully located right next to a forest area.

Our preschool consists of three departments: younger children, slightly older children, and the oldest children. At our preschool, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning. We aim to create a developing and inspiring environment for play, teaching, and learning, where everyone respects each other, shows consideration, and takes responsibility for themselves and their surroundings. The outdoor environment is a significant resource in our work.

As an employee within the preschool in Filipstad municipality, you will have access to a personal iPad as a working tool. We develop collegial learning and collaboration for equity within the preschool using Teams and utilize InfoMentor as a learning platform/documentation tool.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you will work based on current governing documents and be responsible for teaching, planning, implementation, and documentation. Using the curriculum as a foundation, you will choose methods and content based on each child's knowledge, experiences, interests, and specific conditions. Your knowledge and creativity should promote the creation of inclusive learning environments both indoors and outdoors. The work involves close contact and collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians. Working hours are varied, and we collaborate at certain times of the day between departments.

Qualifications

You are a licensed preschool teacher with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with both children and adults, and with great enthusiasm, create a stimulating learning environment for the children. We are looking for someone who is solution-focused, positive, curious, attentive, and reflective. We value experience, creativity, and commitment.
