Description
Sannerud School is the municipal secondary school of Kil with about 400 students located centrally in Kil.

We are a school with good conditions for conducting high-quality operations and development.

The school has a stable work and development organization that is based on the needs of the students and the goals of the operations. Our focus is to reach every student and we do this together.

Our unit also includes our IM program.

We are looking for an employee who will contribute to raising the quality of our work and who sees change work as a given part of everyday life.

Responsibilities

As a special educator, you will have a leading role in the school's student health and its development. You will be part of the student health team at the school, where you work closely with students, teachers, and school management.

As a special educator, you work preventively to create a good environment for students' learning and development, through individual conversations and a guiding function. You should be able to conduct observations and guidance and also work with students where we have not yet found successful learning strategies.

You believe in collaboration and in collegially contributing to both your own and your colleagues' development. You base your work on thorough scientific principles and proven experience. You are convinced that all children and students can succeed and that you are a very important part of that.

Qualifications

Special educator degree and certification.

We would like you to have several years of experience working as a special educator. We want you to easily collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents and be solution-focused. Investigation skills in various forms are meritorious. We place great value on your commitment, pedagogical competence, and mentoring ability. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can create trust with the students.

You are passionate about students' development and want to create interest and curiosity among the students. You create a positive learning environment together with the students where they can develop their abilities based on their conditions.

You contribute to collegial learning together with colleagues across all subjects by promoting a positive solution-focused work climate in the teams.
