Preschool Lyckan consists of three departments where the working method is age-divided.

The work of creating conditions for children's care, development, and learning is ongoing, equally important every day, and occurs in interaction with each other. Being acknowledged and respected strengthens self-esteem.

The daily life at Preschool Lyckan is based on collaboration between the departments. This collaboration facilitates transitions for the children in the age-divided working method - it becomes natural to socialize with everyone and provides good opportunities for children to interact, develop, and learn with all ages.

The guiding principles of Preschool Lyckan are Discover, Experience, Explore, Challenge, and Develop, characterized by:

• a pleasant and safe environment where everyone is welcome and seen

At the preschool, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning. The work is led by the principal who, in close collaboration with the educators, drives the work for a preschool to be proud of. The preschool has a clear structure and shared vision, which is important for a sustainable value base where the best interests of the children are always in focus, and where care, respect, and humility play an important role. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, contributing to the individual and collegial development of the educators.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you work based on current governing documents and are responsible for teaching, planning, implementation, and documentation. You develop education/teaching together with the work team. Using the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Education Act, and the curriculum as a basis, you choose methods and content based on each child's knowledge, experiences, interests, and specific conditions. Your knowledge and creativity should promote the creation of inclusive learning environments both indoors and outdoors.

The work involves close contact with colleagues, children, and guardians, and we constantly strive for a clear structure in all contexts at the preschool.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher. You should have a good ability to communicate with both children and adults and create stimulating learning environments with great enthusiasm. We are looking for someone who is responsible, positive, curious, attentive, learning, and reflective. We value creativity, engagement, and a genuine interest in children's care, development, and learning.

As an employee within the preschool in Filipstad municipality, you will have access to a personal iPad as a digital work tool. We develop collegial learning and collaboration for equity within the preschool using digital tools such as Teams and InfoMentor.
