We are looking for new teachers in after-school care/after-school educators for several after-school programs in central Arvika ahead of the autumn term 2025.

Positions

We are looking for teachers in after-school care/after-school educators for the following schools:

• 1 position, 100%, permanent employment, Dotteviksskolan
  Dotteviksskolan is located next to Kyrkviken on the outskirts of Arvika city center and is a F-6 school with an attached after-school program. At Dotteviksskolan, we strive for everyone to feel safe, thereby providing a good foundation for their learning.
• 2 positions, 100%, permanent employment, Kyrkebyskolan
  Kyrkebyskolan is located in the Agneteberg area in Arvika and is a F-6 school with an attached after-school program and adapted primary school. The school is within walking distance to Arvika city center and has proximity to both forest and land.
• 1 position, 100%, permanent employment, Styckåsskolan
  Styckåsskolan is a centrally located F-6 school with an attached after-school program. The school has nature right at its doorstep and is close to Arvika city center.
• If necessary decisions are made:
  1 position, 80-100%, permanent employment, Gateskolan
  Gateskolan is a F-6 school with an attached after-school program. The school is centrally located in Arvika and is the municipality's largest F-6 school.
• 1 position, 80-100%, permanent employment, Dotteviksskolan
  Dotteviksskolan is located next to Kyrkviken on the outskirts of Arvika city center and is a F-6 school with an attached after-school program. At Dotteviksskolan, we strive for everyone to feel safe, thereby providing a good foundation for their learning.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in after-school care/after-school educator, you are responsible for planning and executing the teaching in the after-school program. The position involves taking responsibility for leading the work to create an activity that stimulates students' development and learning, as well as offering them a meaningful time in after-school care. A large part of the activities are conducted outdoors. It is of great importance that you are active in creating activities that challenge and engage the children. In addition to your role in after-school care, you will also collaborate during school hours with teaching teachers in the classroom, both through your own teaching, resource activities, and break activities.

Qualifications

You are a qualified teacher in after-school care/after-school educator and hold a teaching license for teaching in after-school care. Alternatively, you have experience working with children and youth and another educational qualification that is considered equivalent. It is an advantage if you have previously had responsibility for after-school care or similar tasks. Knowledge and experience of working with students in the NPF area is also advantageous.

As a person, you are flexible, structured, and solution-focused. You are clear in your leadership and have a good ability to create relationships. Creating positive encounters with students, parents, and colleagues is important for the operation and for you. We work closely in our teams and are looking for someone with good collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
