Personal Assistant Wanted

Are you a responsible and caring person looking for a future as a personal assistant? We are seeking someone who wants to work in care.

Our client lives in Gråbo, Lerum municipality, and currently has 6 assistants. We are now looking for you who want to become a reliable and valuable assistant and colleague. We work according to daily routines, documentation, and have regular staff meetings.

As an assistant to this young woman with multiple disabilities, you will work in pairs during daytime shifts, so we are looking for someone who understands the importance of good collaboration with the client, relatives, colleagues, and the assistance provider.

The daily work consists largely of care and consideration for all aspects of our client's daily needs. Our client requires assistance with everything from feeding via a tube to hygiene, training, and other everyday tasks such as shopping, laundry, and cleaning. You will work where our client is – usually in her own apartment located in the villa where her mother lives.

You will be offered friendly colleagues and a client who truly appreciates her assistants. There are dogs in the home, so you should not be allergic to pets. Our assistants always receive an individualized introduction/training in all aspects of the client's care needs and routines – it is important that both you as an assistant and our client feel secure.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

You need to be meticulous, responsible, attentive, proactive, and positive. However, the most important thing is that we find caring and reliable assistants who want to make every day valuable and pleasant for our client. A driver's license and own car are beneficial.

Desirable Experience

• Swedish spoken and written.
• Experience with feeding tubes and EP.

Working Hours/Employment Rate

• 50–60% employment rate.
• Shifts available at all hours of the day and also on weekends.
• For the right person, there is an opportunity to influence the schedule and employment rate.
• Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 11:00 AM - 9:15 PM, and 9:00 PM - 8:15 AM.
