We are now looking for a social worker for Lotsen Children and Youth with a focus on open care who wants to be part of our wonderful team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role as a social worker with a focus on open care, you will belong to the investigation group that handles cases according to SoL and LVU. Connected to the group is a senior social worker who distributes and supports case management.

The group is characterized by great commitment, humor, and professionalism. Together we drive work that makes a difference for the children, youth, and families we meet. You will come to a workplace open to your ideas! As a social worker with a focus on open care, you will work with:

Following up on the services granted for children and youth and their families. Authority exercise is included.
Collaboration with schools, police, BUP, and other actors around the child.
Tailoring solutions for families.

What characterizes this role is that you become specialized in the follow-up and design of ongoing open care interventions within child welfare to meet the specific child's needs in their home environment.

The assignment also includes formulating smart and measurable goals for the services offered to the child and family.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the positions, we are looking for you who:

Are a trained social worker
Hold a B driver's license

We see that you who apply are flexible and creative to adapt to meetings, situations, and unpredictable days. Since the work involves interaction with many actors, we also see that you have good collaboration and communication skills.

To ensure a fair case handling, it is also important that you are responsible with a good ability to structure your work.

Previous work experience from social services and authority handling for children and youth is meritorious. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

What can we offer you?

With us at Lotsen, you will get your own office and a pleasant workplace where we in the workgroup have joint Friday breakfasts and often coordinate lunch training. We have Monday meetings where we go through the week and have set aside time for documentation on Wednesdays.

You will receive guidance and support internally from colleagues and from the senior social worker. We meet together once a month for external supervision at Residenset in Mariestad. As an employee within social services, you have both flexible hours and the opportunity for vacation exchange. You are also offered continuous professional development efforts, e.g., via the Professional Journey and other training planned by the unit.

As a social worker with a focus on open care, you can expect a salary between 36,000 - 45,000 SEK depending on experience and competence.
