Adonia Care - we are now looking for a new employee for our unit in Uddevalla.

Adonia Care is a company that has been around since 2013, offering housing in combination with treatment and social interventions on behalf of the social services.

This includes supported housing, housing with support, sheltered housing, and foster homes. The apartments are located in Västra Götaland, primarily in the Gothenburg area, but also in Uddevalla, Borås, and Ulricehamn. Adonia accepts placements from all over Sweden and has foster homes in a wide geographical area.

Our operations in Uddevalla

We currently work with young adults and adults with support needs due to social and psychiatric difficulties, protection, and previous substance abuse.

The purpose of the placement is to provide the individual with the opportunity for a safe and stable everyday life and a chance for positive development.

The individual lives in their own apartment where staff visit the resident every week. Staff is available around the clock based on readiness.

Job responsibilities and working hours

Your tasks will involve working together with our other support and treatment pedagogues based on the care and implementation plan.

The working hours are daytime as well as on-call duty on a rotating schedule. The work is based at our office in Uddevalla. Work in our operations in Gothenburg may occur based on the needs of the operations.

Your qualifications

The basic requirement to be considered for the position is that you have at least a 2-year education as a social pedagogue/treatment pedagogue or equivalent. A university education such as a social worker or social pedagogue or equivalent is desirable. It is an advantage if you have several years of experience in social work and with the target group.

As a person, you are flexible, can work independently and in a team, structured, proactive, and open to new target groups and challenges. Empathetic ability with professional distance is essential in the job. Practical work such as cleaning and preparing apartments is included in the position.

A driving license (B) is a requirement.

A background check is required for the position. Employment begins with a 6-month probationary period.
