Are you an experienced and driven individual with HR expertise who enjoys combining strategic initiatives with operational efforts? Do you want to develop in a dynamic, family-owned group where engagement, responsibility, and long-term relationships are in focus? The Orvelin Group is now looking for an HR Business Partner who wants to help shape our continued success.

About the Orvelin Group Orvelin Group Holding AB operates in trade, real estate, and investments. As a family-owned group with various industries and operations from Helsingborg to Abisko, we are characterized by the entrepreneurial Orvelin spirit – that anything is possible! We see our workplace as a shared arena where every employee plays a significant role. We believe that joy, engagement, and a strong sense of responsibility create positive results and satisfaction for both employees and customers. We have about 500 employees and our headquarters is located in Strömstad. About the role As an HR Business Partner with us, you will play a key role in supporting and developing several of the group's companies across various industries, taking over from our valued colleague Sandra, who is moving on in her career. The role is both operational and strategic – you will work to drive and improve HR processes and support managers in areas such as labor law, leadership, work environment, and competence supply.

We are facing exciting changes within HR and are looking for someone who can contribute stability, engagement, and drive during this development phase. You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of HR work and influence it in the long term while providing security and continuity in a changing environment.

You will also drive projects related to culture, employee engagement, and change management, collaborate with internal and external parties for long-term relationships, and ensure that HR documentation and agreements are handled correctly in our HR system. We welcome interest in how AI and digital solutions can strengthen HR work, for example, in recruitment and employee follow-up.

You will be part of an HR team of three and report to the group's HR manager.

Examples of tasks:

  • Support and train managers in issues related to leadership, labor law, work environment, and development.
  • Work with strategic competence supply to ensure we have the right skills both today and in the future.
  • Ensure proper handling of general labor law legislation, collective agreements, and maintain good collaborative relationships.
  • Develop and improve HR processes across all parts of the employee journey.
  • Ensure high quality in all processes and administration.
  • Support change management and organizational development in close collaboration with managers and management teams.

Who are you? We are looking for someone who has:

  • Several years of experience in broad and qualified HR work.
  • Relevant education, such as from a human resources program.
  • Experience in combining strategic initiatives with operational tasks.
  • The ability to drive projects from idea to implementation.

To thrive in this role, you are self-driven, proactive, and confident in your skills. You have an unpretentious attitude and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships. A particular interest in leadership and work environment is an advantage, as is experience from a group structure or an environment with multiple operations. Previous experience from retail is a merit.

We offer:

  • A broad and developing role with short decision-making paths and significant influence.
  • The opportunity to lead varied HR projects and make a real difference.
  • A corporate culture characterized by engagement, responsibility, and long-term relationships.
  • Beautiful, modern premises close to the sea in central Strömstad.

The position is 100% with placement in Strömstad, starting as soon as possible or by agreement.

Application A rolling selection of applications will be made and the position may be filled before the application deadline if the right match is found – therefore, please submit your application as soon as possible!

The application deadline is April 21. If you have any questions, please contact Frida Augustin, HR Manager, at frida.augustin@orvelin.se (mailto:frida.augustin@orvelin.se).

We look forward to hearing from you and building the future Orvelin Group together.
