Welcome to us

During the summer of 2025, we are looking for an active supervisor for our twelve summer working youth.

The youth will work with the event Summer in Bromma. We are working on activating four locations in the district, where summer activities will be offered for visitors. Our goal is for visitors to receive good and creative information, want to stay a while in each area, and feel safe.

The first work period starts for you as a supervisor with an introductory information day on June 18. The work period continues on June 23-24, with an introduction for you together with the summer youth. The event period on-site starts from June 25 to July 9. On July 10-11, you and the youth will participate in a collaboration and evaluation of the first work period at Bromma District Administration.

The second work period starts for you as a supervisor on July 28-29, with a kickoff together with the summer youth. The event period then runs from July 30 to August 13. The second work period concludes with collaboration and evaluation on August 14-15 at Bromma District Administration.

It is important that you can work and be physically present during these dates and weeks. During the first summer period, Summer in Bromma will take place at Brommaplan and Tranebergsängen (Alvik). During the second period, Summer in Bromma will take place in Blackeberg and Mariehäll.

We offer

We offer a varied and social job in an outdoor environment, where creative summer youth will be your focus. You will receive a short introductory training in supervision as well as coaching from the responsible project manager, who will also be present during the introductory and closing days. The work environment will be active, and you will play an important role for both the summer youth and the event itself.

Your role

In the role of supervisor, you will instruct and guide the summer working youth in their tasks in a safe and secure manner. The work includes motivating and ensuring that all youth feel included and work actively. At the locations, you will also collaborate with other professional groups from Bromma District Administration as well as with external actors. The activities will be carried out by the youth with your support, and you as a supervisor will arrange logistics for the planned summer activities and help receive organizers. You will plan, coordinate, and implement various activities at the different locations where Summer in Bromma takes place together with the youth. You will also be helpful in providing practical assistance to actors on-site.

In your role as a supervisor, you should:

• Provide information and guidance before the work starts to the summer youth
• Introduce the youth to the work and support them in their ongoing tasks
• Go through workplace rules, including safety regulations
• Distribute tasks to the youth and actively guide them in their work
• Write time reports regarding the youth's working hours
• Write work certificates after completed work periods
• Provide ongoing feedback and guidance to the youth regarding their work efforts and questions

Your qualifications and experience

To be considered for the position, we want you to have a high school education and documented experience of having previously worked with youth. In the role of supervisor, you are their closest contact person and a role model for our youth, who often have their first encounter with working life.

It is advantageous if you have:

• A pedagogical education
• Experience working with youth with disabilities
• Leadership experience from, for example, association activities or as a leader for other youth activities

• Can follow instructions and convey them to others
• Are meticulous in your assignment
• Have a strong interest in leadership

• Have the ability to motivate youth to perform various types of tasks
• Participate and assist with the youth's tasks
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Are unpretentious and flexible as the workdays are very varied
