Group Leader for Söderorts HVB
Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
The Social Administration in the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the area of disabilities. Here, good conditions are created to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service, and we have a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures are offered to the city's residents, and the offerings change based on the needs of Stockholmers and the wishes of the district administrations. The work often takes place in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business community. The Social Administration is also responsible for the city's serving and tobacco licenses and conducts supervision.
Welcome to us!
Do you want to help create an organization with a meaningful and important mission? Are you motivated by seeing employees grow and develop in their roles as you work together to create a positive and lasting change in the lives of young people? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you in the role of group leader for Söderorts HVB.
With us, you will have a unique opportunity to help develop Stockholm's first HVB home.
Söderorts HVB is a relatively newly started operation located in Svedmyra and offers eight places for girls aged 14-17 with social problems who are placed according to SoL (Social Services Act) and LVU (Act with special provisions on the care of young people). We work based on environmental therapeutic principles and offer individualized measures based on the young people's individual needs, with a particular focus on health and schooling. The operation also includes an acute and short-term accommodation that offers three places for young people in need of a quick placement.
The workgroup consists of social workers, treatment assistants at night, an administrative assistant, a unit manager, and a group leader. We are a total of 24 employees who staff both the HVB and the acute and short-term accommodation.
Greetings from Hiam Mohammed, unit manager:
Hello!
My name is Hiam Mohammed, and I hope to be your new boss.
I look forward to driving and developing this important operation together with you and the workgroup. Every challenge we face I see as an opportunity to grow and be enriched with valuable insights for the future. As a manager, I am available and attentive and want employees to feel safe and enjoy their work.
We offer
An opportunity for you to contribute to the continued development of Söderorts HVB together with engaged and motivated colleagues. As an employee within the Social Administration, you will also be offered an informative introduction to give you the best conditions in your new role, flexible working hours, wellness benefits, and vacation exchange. The operation is new and under development, which means that the work is varied and challenging. Therefore, it is important that you are stable and resilient, as well as having the ability to drive the work forward yourself.
