Ölmestad School is the only F-9 unit in the municipality, and we collaborate closely with Ängslyckan School F-6. We work distinctly based on relational learning, and great emphasis is placed on meeting the student where they are in terms of knowledge. We work in teams, and your ability to create good contacts and meetings is crucial for success in our organization.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the craft subject, focusing on wood and metal crafts. Close collaboration with a colleague in textile crafts requires a high degree of flexibility. You will teach students from grades 3 to 9. You will be responsible for planning, assessments, purchasing, classroom maintenance, and will also serve as a homeroom teacher for one class.

We are a smaller unit, and this requires a flexible working approach where tasks may vary based on the needs of the organization. The position does not generate 100% craft teaching, which means that teaching crafts at other schools may become relevant or teaching in another subject at Ölmestad School.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is qualified in the craft subject. You are communicative and have an approach that involves great clarity where knowledge is central. You find it easy to meet people and work well in teams. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Your membership is deeply connected to your ability to collaborate and participate in your and the organization's development. For us, this means that you have good cooperation with your manager and colleagues, both in your own workplace and in the rest of the municipal group. You treat everyone with a high level of service, kindness, and quality through customer and service focus. You take responsibility for being involved in organizational issues and are solution-oriented.

Interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may also be filled continuously during the application period. The position will be filled provided that the necessary decisions are made.
