The adapted primary school in Tranås municipality is located at Junkaremålsskolan in completely new premises. We have three classes: AGR 1–9 subject areas, AGR 4–6 subjects, and AGR 7–9 subjects. The premises are connected to Junkaremålsskolan F–6 with separate entrances and close to other school facilities. In the adapted primary school, special teachers focusing on intellectual disabilities, developmental teachers, trained teachers, student assistants, resource educators, and social pedagogues work together. The operation also includes special education and student health.

We are now looking for a teacher for grades F–3 with a focus on subject areas for a temporary position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher in the adapted primary school, you work with the student at the center and see learning and development as intertwined. In this role, you are responsible for the entire development of the student together with student assistants and other teachers. In your professional role, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and see communication and relationships as important tools in your teaching. You enjoy meeting and working with people and contribute to a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed teacher for grades F-3. We would like you to have experience and interest in students with multiple disabilities, as well as experience working with AAC, such as sign language support and visual aids.
