Nordinskolan is a middle school in Smålandsstenar with approximately 300 students.

Our school is newly built and was opened in January 2015. We have fresh, bright facilities with educational technology in every classroom. Gislaveds Municipality has a one-to-one system with tablets as an educational tool.

Nordinskolan is led by a principal and an assistant principal. Since 2017, we have full-time mentors who work with the social aspects of student support. The student health team consists of the principal, assistant principal, school counselor, school nurse, special educator, career counselor, and two mentors.

The school's development work focuses on cooperative learning, study techniques, language development work, and values-based work based on MVP. This work is led by the school's lead teachers and management. We work with observations as part of collegial learning.

Job Responsibilities

You will work as a subject teacher in home economics and another subject that the school needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified teacher in home economics to teach grades 7-9 in the subject. You will be responsible for ordering materials, planning lessons, implementation, follow-up, grading, and assessment. Your position will be complemented with teaching in another qualified subject to ensure full-time employment.

We use the learning platform Vklass for our communication with students and guardians.
