We are a school with about 85 students from preschool to grade 6, where we work with both age-homogeneous and age-mixed classes.

The school is beautifully located close to nature in the small community of Broaryd. The school is part of the Sydvästen school area together with Bureskolan in Burseryd.

You will be responsible for teaching in preschool, while also being part of a team where you collectively lead and develop the educational work towards the goals for our students in the lower grades, grades F-3. The idea is that you teach these students throughout their early years to create a secure school experience for them.

You will use modern technology in your work with students, as we in Gislaveds municipality have tablets as a natural part of the educational process. We strive to work with cooperative learning (CL), which is a way to motivate, engage, and activate students.

Responsibilities

The main responsibility consists of teaching in our preschool class. A smaller part of the teaching may be assigned to another class in the school.

You will be a mentor for the students in your class. In addition, there will be some additional assignments at the school, and we all help to solve the tasks that exist in our organization in the school area.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher for the early years. You see all students and their differences as an asset and have a good ability to develop sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and solution-oriented and thrive in a collegial learning environment. You have knowledge of students with various disabilities so that you can meet all students based on their conditions.

We are looking for someone who is proactive in promoting, preventing, and addressing issues related to student learning and development.

Your role as an employee is closely linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in your and the organization's development. For us, this means having a good collaboration with your manager and colleagues, both in your own workplace and in the rest of the municipal group. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment period. The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made.

A permanent position can only be considered if a teaching license can be presented.
