Your new job

As a teacher in wood and metal crafts, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on craft education together with your closest colleague. This includes designing the teaching so that all students can participate based on their conditions and are given the opportunity to develop and learn within the craft subject. This includes highlighting students' development and learning in various contexts.

You will teach approximately 50% in the craft subject, with the remaining time depending on your qualifications and competencies. You will be part of a team where you are expected to contribute to the overall development of the school.

At Fagerslätt School, there are currently 320 students from preschool to grade 6. Here you will be offered experienced and qualified colleagues both in primary school and in after-school care. Your role includes building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Your qualifications

You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license to teach in the craft subject, alternatively a candidate who has not yet received their teaching license or is at the end of their education. We prefer that you are qualified in another subject or a licensed teacher in after-school care. Experience in teaching and working with students is an advantage.

We expect you to be well-grounded in the primary school's mission and its governing documents, as well as having good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You should also have basic IT skills.

You have the ability to create a creative and safe working environment for students, good collaboration skills, and a willingness to contribute to the school's development.
