We are now looking for a senior accounting economist for an exciting assignment in Gothenburg. You will work closely with both the Swedish headquarters and our global accounting center in Madrid. The role involves responsibility for ongoing bookkeeping, monthly and quarterly financial statements according to both Swedish accounting standards (K3) and IFRS.

You will play an important part in ensuring the quality of financial reporting, as well as improving and streamlining processes and routines together with internal and external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and other specialists.

-Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial statements according to IFRS and local GAAP

-Participate in and provide input to improvement projects and digitalization initiatives

-Work with complex accounting issues and ensure accurate reporting

-Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders

-Contribute to the standardization and streamlining of accounting processes

-University degree in economics/accounting

-Solid experience from larger international companies

-Very good understanding of financial processes and systems

-Experience with SAP R/3 and Hyperion FM (meritorious)

-Interest in data analysis, automation, and digitalization

-Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

-A structured working method and ability to see the big picture

-Strong integrity, positive attitude, and good collaboration skills

A long-term consulting assignment where you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment, with complex accounting issues and in an organization that focuses on quality and development. The assignment is located in central Gothenburg with a start date to be agreed upon.
