JOB DESCRIPTION

As a childminder, you will work in your own home and provide pedagogical care for a group of children aged 1-5 years. In your home, you should be able to create an environment suitable for conducting this activity, with play areas available. You need to work in a structured manner and according to clear routines, which include cooking and conducting educational activities both indoors and outdoors.

A lot of the activities take place outdoors, and outdoor play is a significant part of the days. You will plan and implement the activities in such a way that the children's needs are met. You will work in your home with your group of children, but you will also be part of a team with other childminders who meet regularly.

Childminders in Sjöbo belong to Area 1, the preschools Blockflöjten, Åsum, and Tofta.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have a pedagogical education, childcare training, or experience working with children aged 1-5 years. Your home should be suitable for child activities. The home must be smoke-free and pet-free. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed, and flexible. As a childminder, you need to be solution-oriented and have the ability to provide children with a safe, positive, and educational stay. We expect you to be professional, always keeping the child's best interests in mind, and to have good collaboration skills with the children, guardians, and your colleagues.
