Stureskolan

Stureskolan is a grades 7-9 school located in central Boden with approximately 360 students. The school has a preparatory class for newly arrived students, adapted primary school, and an international school ISB (International School of Boden). Stureskolan is organized into four work teams, each with its own special educator who also serves as the team leader. The school has a well-developed local student health team consisting of the principal, deputy principals, special educators, school counselors, school nurses, school psychologists, and study and career counselors. The school also has a safety team consisting of two safety coordinators and several safety resources who actively work to create relationships and safety during breaks in the school's corridors and in our student café. Our focus areas are higher goal fulfillment, study peace, and we continuously develop and improve teaching in our work with BUUS (Boden systematically develops teaching).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to teach Swedish and English in grades 7-9. Teaching will be your primary task, but as a teacher, you will also have the role of contact teacher for a group of students, and in that role, you will create the best conditions for students to develop, thrive, and feel safe.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified and certified teacher in Swedish and English. We want you to be open to varying working methods, collaboration, and school development. Additionally, you have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. Your pedagogical and social skills make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also good at conveying your knowledge to our students. You have good experience working with computers as a tool in educational activities.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
