Måttsund School's after-school program is a place where play, learning, and community go hand in hand! The school is a F6 school with about 90 students located beautifully between the sea and the mountains, about 15 km south of Luleå. Here you will work in an inspiring and unique outdoor environment with ski trails, hills, and forests, as well as access to your own ice rink and sports hall during leisure time.
With us, cohesion is key - we work together to ensure that each child's entire school day is both meaningful and developmental. We have about 70 enrolled students in the after-school program and actively work with buddy groups where older children support younger ones. At Måttsund School, all children are everyone's responsibility, and we believe that a small school creates great children.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

When one of our after-school educators retires, we are looking for an engaged teacher for the after-school program. With us, you have great opportunities to contribute to the development of the after-school activities. At Måttsund School, we work to create a good environment for all our students. All our students should have joy and enthusiasm for their learning, and they should thrive, develop, and feel safe in their school environment.

The position as a teacher in the after-school program at Måttsund School involves working with student groups during the day and in the after-school program in the afternoons. Break activities may be included in the assignment. The position entails responsibility for conducting after-school activities, which includes planning and following up on the activities, both individually and together with your work team.

The goal for the after-school activities is to create an environment that promotes safety, social awareness, and independence. Students are offered a meaningful leisure time that supports their development and encourages them to take their own initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications for after-school programs. Individuals with other higher education combined with experience in a school environment may also be considered for the position. Previous experience in after-school activities or schools is desirable and meritorious, as well as being familiar with the after-school program's curriculum.

As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks. You place great importance on quality and enjoy collaborating and building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Providing good service comes naturally to you, and it is something you always strive for.

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
