Welcome to the Labor Market and Education Administration in Boden Municipality!

The Labor Market and Education Administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues that concern our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological parts of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary school, adapted primary school, high school, and adapted high school.

Hedens School is a primary school with about 260 students from preschool class up to year 6. The school is located 6 km from central Boden, beautifully situated in Heden next to a small forest that is frequently used by the school. At the school, there are two classes in each grade and two after-school care departments. For many years, the school has designed and upgraded the work environment for both students and educators. The focus has been on creating rooms within rooms, so that the work environment can function as an extra educator for the students, be easy to change, and at the same time increase the joy of work for both students and educators. The outdoor environment, the spacious schoolyard, is also under constant development. The school has a well-functioning break activity with activities for the students.

We want to give our students the courage and competence to meet future opportunities and challenges. We believe that one learns from and with each other, in different situations and environments, and that social interaction is an important piece of the puzzle in learning. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a teacher for the lower grades at Hedens School for a temporary position for the school year 25/26 as one of our employees will be on parental leave.

Your daily work includes planning lessons, assessing and documenting students' development, and providing feedback on students' knowledge development to students and guardians. You will be part of a working team with other teachers, leisure educators, and special educators.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching degree with the qualification to teach in the earlier years of primary school.

We are looking for someone who is interested in collegial learning and school development. You have good knowledge and a burning interest in your subjects. You help students develop and succeed. You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents. You are self-reliant, responsible, have good collaboration skills, and see opportunities in each student's individual development. You have the ability to create and maintain professional and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have high communicative and interactive skills, are socially perceptive, and have a high motivation for the teaching profession. You also have the ability for self-reflection and analysis.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
