About Kavat Vård Kavat Vård operates nursing homes with various focuses. You choose what suits you best. In our facilities, our residents can feel safe; we keep our promises. Everyone has the right to good care and support, but they want it in different ways! Therefore, our homes have a clear offering. For example, you can choose a Spanish-speaking nursing home, a home with a hotel concept, or one where the furniture is included in the rent.

We are now looking for more part-time nursing assistants with experience from working in nursing homes. There are good chances for a permanent position in the future if you are the right person.

Smedbyhof has a total of 40 places, 20 places for dementia and 20 for somatic care. You can easily reach us by bus from the Upplands Väsby commuter train station or by car.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you and your colleagues plan the workday based on the individual needs and wishes of the residents. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful everyday life for the residents is an important part of the work.

Qualifications We are looking for someone with a nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points and who has experience working in elderly care. We place great emphasis on interaction, communication, and being a contact person; therefore, it is very important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

All our documentation is done in the Safe Doc journal system, so good computer skills are necessary.

As a person, you are motivated, engaged, and independent, and used to working towards set goals. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills – we place great importance on personal suitability and value being caring and thorough in your work. You should have a genuine interest in making our elderly residents' days as good as they can be.

To protect our elderly and other risk groups, you need to be Covid vaccinated. We will ask to see your Covid certificate during the interview.

We conduct background checks on all newly hired staff.
