Tuvan is a small preschool with space for about 25 children. The preschool employs three preschool teachers and two childcare workers. The food is prepared by our own chef. We have two departments for older and younger children, but we work a lot together, which creates security and trust between both children and adults.

Tuvan is a parent cooperative preschool founded in 1984. Today, the cooperative is run as an economic association and the operations take place in a pleasant functionalist villa with a large and lovely garden.

At Tuvan, the staff collaborates with the best interests of the entire operation in focus. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy, which is based on the belief that all children are born with an inherent drive to explore the world. This means that we work with theme-oriented approaches where children's interests and questions influence the direction of the work.

To be able to follow and challenge children's learning processes, we work with pedagogical documentation. With short communication paths and close to decision-making, it is easy to change and adapt the operations and the pedagogical learning environments to provide children with the best possible education.

YOUR ROLE

• Lead the pedagogical activities in collaboration with the principal and other preschool teachers
• Create learning environments that are accessible, creative, and challenging
• Work process-oriented and goal-directed to teach, challenge, and engage children in education
• Be responsible for the content, implementation, and design of development talks
• Be responsible for preparations, introduction, and onboarding of new children
• Perform the tasks decided by the board and otherwise follow the principal's guidance and directives

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher license and a strong interest in outdoor education, music, movement, and creative creation. You have knowledge and an idea of how you and your colleagues can realize the goals and values of the curriculum. Your approach reflects a clear child focus. You know how to make visible and further develop children's learning processes using pedagogical documentation. You are driven to keep the development of the pedagogical environment alive. Your social skills are good, and you find it easy to collaborate with others.

Experience in the profession is an advantage.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent. Full-time or part-time by agreement. We apply a six-month probationary period.

START DATE: August 4, 2025, or by agreement.

SALARY: We apply individual salary setting.
