Surrounding the school is a beautiful natural environment with wind shelters and illuminated trails. The area is located about 4 kilometers from Örnsköldsvik's center, and from Järvedsvägen, you can quickly reach the school via "Slinger", a walking path through the forest that gets your heart racing!

In addition to students from preschool to grade 9, there are also three after-school departments and seven preschool departments. The school has three principals.

Job Responsibilities

Along with a team of competent, driven colleagues, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics, science, and technology in grades 7-9. The position includes not only teaching but also mentorship and managing the documentation and contacts that the assignment entails. Part of the role will involve being a flexible resource for groups/students in need of support. A crucial part of the work is collaboration with colleagues and creating and maintaining good contact and cooperation with guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree with subject competence in mathematics, science, and technology for grades 7-9.

You should have strong and clear leadership in the classroom, a broad pedagogical toolbox, and a well-developed formative approach. You create clarity in your teaching with a focus on structure, context, and good relationships. You have knowledge and a good ability to adapt teaching based on the needs of groups and individuals. We would also like you to have experience leading group processes.

Even if you have other qualifications than a certified primary school teacher, you are welcome to apply, but in the event of employment, the position will be temporary based on certification requirements for a permanent position.
