ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for an engaged and development-oriented football instructor for the Education Center's individual choice football program.

We are the leading education center in Southern Lapland, offering a wide range of upper secondary education, ski gymnasium (NIU), adult education, and adapted schooling for youth and adults. Our vision is to create a driving force for lifelong learning together – a learning that is the key to life!

The individual choice football program at Tannberg School is in an expansive phase, focusing on quality education, recruitment, establishment, and development of the operation in line with the football association and Swedish sports strategies. The position involves training and educational responsibility for football students at the upper secondary level, as well as other usual tasks associated with the teaching profession. We are looking for a coach who puts students at the center and has a strong commitment to the profession and the sport. As the educational coordinator, you will have overall responsibility for the educational structure of the operation, working closely with football clubs both within and outside the municipality. This includes conducting tests on players, planning, follow-up, individual education, and individual conversations with the players. As the educational coordinator for individual choice football, you are a crucial piece in managing the talented football players in Västerbotten's inland. The position also includes responsibility for handling football's educational materials.

The work is based at the Sports Institution at the Education Center. Your closest colleagues are physical education teachers and other coaches. The Sports Institution is characterized by a pleasant environment and a strong commitment to sports in the city. The position as a coach at Tannberg School is 50%. The employment can be combined with other assignments at the Education Center.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with a physical education teacher degree with a specialization in football or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience from pedagogical work, training from the football association, and club activities are meritorious.

It is important that you have good social skills and a positive attitude towards both students and guardians as well as colleagues. In the role of educational coordinator, you will have close contact with the players and the other coaches and physical education teachers at the school. Therefore, you need to have good collaboration skills and a willingness and interest in working in teams and subject groups. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Duration: Permanent employment, a probationary period may apply. Scope: 50%, with the possibility of combining with another assignment at the Education Center.
