Job Responsibilities:

You will teach the subject of art. Your teaching will cover grades 3 to 9. At Vindelälvsskolan, you are expected to collaborate with colleagues who teach other subjects, and the pedagogical leadership from the principal encourages collaboration across subject boundaries.

As an employer, we can also assist in exploring opportunities to increase your working hours with other tasks within the educational activities if you wish. For example, extra study time or signing up for the substitute pool.

In the art subject, you will help students develop their entrepreneurial skills. As a teacher, you will plan and implement student-active teaching where students will work in creative ways, test and reconsider their ideas, and take action.

Your work includes teaching students with different backgrounds and abilities, and we expect you, with your formative approach, to have a great ability to meet students where they are in your subjects.

Your Qualities:

You are brave, spread joy, and show respect. You are engaged and see the benefits of collaborating with colleagues to create good conditions for students' development and learning. Furthermore, we see that you are a responsible, clear, and structured teacher in teaching situations, and have a positive and solution-focused approach. You are inspired by the curiosity and engagement of young people and contribute to active learning for each individual student.

Competence/Qualifications - Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with the authority to teach art up to grade 9. If you lack formal qualifications, you are still welcome to apply. If no qualified licensed teachers apply for the position, you who are unqualified can be employed temporarily for a maximum of one school year.

Meritorious qualifications include having relevant work experience with several years of teaching experience in primary school. It is also meritorious if you are trained to supervise teacher students and if you have education in NPF.

Duration/Working Hours:

Permanent. Part-time 50%.

Start date 2025-08-13 or by agreement.

Salary:

According to agreement. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
