ABOUT THE POSITION

Aranya is one of Sweden's leading companies in network communication and security-related services. They are known for their specialization and their highly certified network technicians within their partners' leading products. Their platform and expertise stand out in the market, and with your hard work, you will have excellent conditions to produce good results! As a Network Technician, you will also have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in Networking and Security.

This is a full-time consulting assignment where you will be employed as a consultant with us at Academic Work and work on assignment for Aranya. The project you will work on runs from April to September, with the possibility of continuation thereafter for the right person.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Network Technician, you will work in Aranya's service delivery of LAN, WLAN, Firewalls, (SD-)WAN/Internet, VPN solutions, authentication solutions, and similar network-related services. The tasks include both new service delivery and troubleshooting of existing services. You are expected to lead simpler projects from preparation to implementation and handover. It is essential that your work involves striving to deepen your focus areas while also broadening your skills to related areas.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Installation and setup of network environments.
• Troubleshooting and correction in existing network environments.
• Documentation and inventory.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Either have a YH or bachelor's degree in networking, where education from Nackademin and Mälardalen University is considered a strong merit.
• Alternatively, you have 1-2 years of work experience in telecommunications or NaaS.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Worked with delivering network services, either at an ISP or a system integrator.
• 5-10 years of experience in similar work within networking.
• Experience with Aruba and/or Palo Alto.

• Collaborative: You find it easy to collaborate with various parts of the organization, as the contact between Sales and Operations is crucial for success in the role. As a Network Technician, you are part of their Deploy team, which collectively delivers all of Aranya's services. Therefore, you need to be a responsive team player who helps contribute to the group's set goals.
• Technically interested: You are curious about learning new technologies and taking the next step in networking and security.
