At Svenstavik Health Center, we have a great collaboration between different professional categories, and all positions are staffed by permanent employees.
Are you a team player? We will start TEAM work where doctors and nurses/nurse practitioners are responsible for the same patients. Currently, we have date division for our listed patients.
The health center is open from 08:00 to 17:00, but we have individually adapted time schedules.
Are you curious about Close Care? Take the opportunity to help develop our health center in the transition to Close Care. This includes a personally tailored assignment with your own patient list and responsibility for our most vulnerable elderly patients. The working method allows for increased opportunities for home visits, thereby providing security to the patients who need it the most.
Svenstavik Health Center is a well-functioning health center with a rural profile where we work together as a team. Here, doctors, midwives, district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation coordinators work together. We have our own radiology department with radiology nurses, a psychosocial unit with social workers, and physiotherapy shared with Myrviken Health Center.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as a district doctor with us means that you assess, investigate, treat, and advise patients in primary care with various types of ailments and issues. You will work with health promotion, group activities, and collaborate with other professionals at the health center. You will work based on evidence-based methods individually, in group activities, and via the internet.
As part of the transition to close care, you will be responsible for the municipality's home healthcare and SÄBO in your profession. This work includes making home visits together with a nurse or district nurse.
We actively work to develop our treatment efforts for good living habits and to prevent long-term sick leave and promote a quick return to work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written (C1 level).
You enjoy working in a team with other professionals close to the patient and would like to contribute to the development of the organization.
As a person, we see that you are positive, humble, and prefer to work solution-oriented. Additionally, we appreciate a structured and flexible working style. You should have good initiative, an open mind, and be open to changes within the field of work. Independent work, good interpersonal skills, collaboration ability, and professional responsibility are required.
Independent research and research supervision are meritorious but not a formal requirement for the position.
Personal suitability is of great importance.

Primary care is a healthcare unit within the region's health and medical care administration, where higher education for medical degrees and research is conducted. This means that all applicants must be assessed by the research and development manager before potential employment. Therefore, the application must include the following accompanying documents.

- A structured CV
- Certificate of medical degree from the institution(s) where the doctor completed their basic education. This also applies to doctors trained in other EU countries and outside the EU.
- Authorization certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
- Specialist competence certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare
- Certificate/documentation of teaching experience and possibly other pedagogical merits.
- If applicable, a certificate of academic degree, such as Doctor of Medicine or Docent, along with the date of disputation and title of the dissertation.
- Documented supervisor training
- If applicable, a complete updated publication list.
- Possibly additional documented merits regarding clinical knowledge/experience, clinical development work, leadership experience, and anything else the applicant wishes to highlight as meritorious for the position applied for.
