The primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is part of the Division of Close Care together with Ambulance, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. We are organized into four local care areas and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under the concept of “good and close care.” Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. We are also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth reception, and the local care department Näva.

Our health center is a pleasant and well-functioning workplace and is not far from Frösöstrand if you feel like a swim after the day is done. We who work here are many professional roles including general practitioners, ST and AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, diabetes nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and physiotherapists. In addition, there is a family center with BMM, BVC, and open preschool. We also have a psychosocial reception.

We are over 50 wonderful employees and 2 dedicated unit managers who lead in a shared leadership and together offer patient-focused care to approximately 10,000 registered patients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks are sampling at our own lab and assisting with specific medical examinations such as gynecological examinations, rectoscopy, and mole reception. We have our own infection track for infectious patients where the nursing assistant assists the doctor in examination and treatment.

Home visits to patients who have difficulty getting to the health center for sampling are an important part of the nursing assistant's work. Other tasks include being responsible for laundry and supplies as well as some administration.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with nursing assistant training with a healthcare focus or someone who is in medical/nursing education and wishes to gain clinical experience. You should have experience in sampling and find it stimulating to work in a changing environment. You should be outgoing, flexible, and used to meeting patients with different needs as well as enjoying the role of being the “face of the health center.” You should be able to work both independently and in a team.

We expect you to contribute your expertise and a good attitude together with your colleagues to provide the best possible care for patients. You enjoy your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a good working climate as you have initiative and a sense of responsibility. We place great importance on personal suitability.

A valid driver’s license is required.
