Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care, together with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth clinics, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an ambulance nurse/nurse, you will perform common tasks at an ambulance station.

It is important for us to provide adequate training to our employees. Initially, we offer you an introductory program tailored to your previous experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a specialist nurse, preferably in ambulance care, but we also consider other specialist training as meritorious. Alternatively, a licensed nurse with experience in ambulance or emergency care is advantageous.

Before employment, a passing result on our fitness test and driving test is required. A driver's license with at least B category is a requirement. Emergency driver training is advantageous, as well as training in AHLR, pediatric AHLR, PS, AMLS, and PHTLS.

As ambulance personnel, you are confident in your professional role, have a genuine interest in people, and always keep the patient in focus. We place great importance on your ability to work independently and have a flexible approach to working under changing circumstances and in a varying work pace. You have the ability to prioritize between different tasks and make decisions. High demands are placed on medical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, we expect you to have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in a team, and actively contribute your knowledge to a positive work environment. We value your interest in being involved in further developing our operations. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
