Strömsund's Primary Care Area consists of the Primary Care Department, Strömsund Health Center, Backe Health Center, and the Ambulance Service in Strömsund.

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for employment at Strömsund Health Center.

Strömsund Health Center has aesthetically pleasing premises, and there work district doctors, district nurses, nurses, physiotherapists, medical foot care specialists, radiology nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, cleaners, caretakers, psychologists, social workers, etc. There is a Family Center that includes BVC, MVC, and open preschool. We have about 30 employees who together care for the approximately 5,000 residents registered with us. Adjacent to the health center is our Primary Care Department (NÄVA) with primary care places and short-term places according to the Social Services Act in collaboration with the municipality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Typical occupational therapy tasks include assessing activity ability, interventions in the form of adjustments in the environment and activities, support in structure and routines, training, and prescribing assistive devices.

We have close collaboration with the health center's other staff and hold regular team meetings with them to plan care and rehabilitation. Collaboration with other healthcare providers or actors is also an important part of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist and prefer that you have broad experience and feel secure in your professional role. The work requires a high degree of independence.

Great consideration is given to personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
