Gångviken School is a K-6 school located in Sundsbruk, just a stone's throw from Birsta shopping center. The school provides education from preschool class up to grade 6. We have an after-school program, and the school has approximately 150 students.

The school has bright and pleasant facilities. Gångviken School has a good outdoor environment with large green areas, including a football field, basketball court, and proximity to the forest.

Gångviken School offers good collaboration within the work team, and together we contribute to each other's and the students' development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Physical Education teacher responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting your own teaching. You will belong to a work team where close collaboration is of utmost importance to meet all students in the best possible way.

Here, everyone works together to ensure that students succeed both in terms of results and eventually grades, but also so that they can continue on their educational journey after their time at Gångviken School, feeling ready to face greater challenges with confidence!

Sometimes you will collaborate with the physical education teacher at Ljustadalens School, where parts of the teaching will also take place, together with Ljustadalens students. You will also lead the School Sports Association and work as a resource when needed, for example, in the after-school program. The work is varied and requires great flexibility, the ability to handle multiple tasks and contexts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license up to grade 6 and long-term experience teaching students in challenging socio-economic areas.

Experience and knowledge of working with children in need of special support and working with inclusive learning environments are advantageous. Gångviken School is located in an area with socio-economic challenges. It is important that you are secure, stable, and have good leadership skills. Experience from similar areas or educational situations may be an advantage.

You view relationships and relationship-building as fundamental to your work and are good at creating and maintaining good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are solution-focused, have good collaboration skills, and are a positive role model for our students.
