About the role

As Accounting Manager, you will play a central role in the company's finance function and report directly to the Head of Finance. You will lead a team of six people and be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with relevant regulations. You will work closely with both the Head of Finance and the CFO, who are there to provide support and guidance in daily operations. Together, you form a strong team that drives the finance function forward and ensures high quality in the company's accounting and financial reporting. In your role, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Ensure that accounting meets legal requirements and internal guidelines
• Be responsible for contact with and management of accounting consultants for our Finnish operations (Swedish-speaking)
• Handle VAT and tax issues at the level required for the role
• Support and develop your team through coaching and leadership
• Work with external auditors
• Streamline and develop processes within accounting and reporting
• Participate in financial projects related to both the company's international expansion and digital development.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting and/or auditing
• A degree in finance
• Experience working in an environment with high demands on accounting and compliance
• Good knowledge of VAT and tax issues
• Experience in group accounting (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of accounting regulations in Norway and Finland (preferred but not required)
• Experience leading or coaching employees is preferred
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
