Welcome to a municipality with a positive team spirit and limitless future prospects! Eda is a municipality with approximately 1000 employees who all work in some way to provide service to our citizens, employees, and visitors.

The municipal management staff is an area of operation focused on support and service to our employees. Within the staff, we work with IT, Finance, HR, Payroll, Information, and Communication.

Our main mission is to ensure that our employees have a safe and pleasant workplace where everyone can participate. Together with other operations in the municipality, we actively work on the development of our organization with the goal of being a workplace where everyone has the same conditions and opportunities.

As an HR consultant in Eda Municipality's HR department, you will have seven colleagues in the form of an HR manager, another HR consultant, three payroll specialists, and two payroll administrators.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Eda Municipality is now looking for a driven and engaged HR consultant who wants to contribute with their experience and expertise. You will join a department with great commitment, good collaboration, and an open and inclusive work climate.

This is an exciting position for you who want to combine operational work with strategic planning. As an HR consultant with us, you will have a broad and developing role where you will:

• Provide support and advice to managers on personnel issues with a particular focus on labor law, legal and contractual interpretation, rehabilitation, and complex personnel matters.
• Develop, implement, and follow up on HR processes.
• Plan and conduct training and development initiatives.
• Be responsible for and develop HR's system support.

Eda Municipality is a large local employer but a small municipality in the country. Here, as an HR consultant, you have great opportunities to influence and contribute. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in personnel and labor issues or another education that we assess as equivalent, alternatively adequate professional experience. You are trustworthy, responsible, and confident in your role as an HR consultant and comfortable working broadly within HR issues. You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with others.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you see no task as either too big or too small, but take on the tasks that need to be done with great commitment. As a person, you are solution-oriented, structured, and have an easy time working systematically with multiple tasks simultaneously. You prioritize and drive your work forward in a thoughtful and independent manner. You have strong communication skills both in writing and verbally.

It is desirable if you have experience with various HR system supports such as WinLas, Visma, Miljödata.
