Accountant at Säffle Ekonomerna

Säffle Ekonomerna is a personal and experienced accounting firm founded in 1993. They consist of a small but dedicated team that works with bookkeeping, year-end closing, tax declarations, administration, and consulting. The business primarily targets small and medium-sized enterprises, offering comprehensive support to help clients with all aspects of their financial needs. As an accountant at Säffle Ekonomerna, you will be an important part of the team and have daily contact with clients. Your primary focus will be on tax declarations, an area where we are looking for someone with solid experience and knowledge. You will also be responsible for ongoing accounting and year-end closing, as well as providing clients with advice and support in their financial matters.

This is a 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension and potential permanent employment. You will be employed by Student Consulting but assigned to Säffle Ekonomerna. The work is full-time with working hours scheduled during office hours, but may vary slightly depending on the season. The work is expected to be performed on-site at the office in Säffle, as clients will be visiting regularly. There is also an opportunity for some flexibility in working hours by agreement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• At least 3-4 years of experience as an accountant, with a particular focus on tax declarations
• Experience in accounting and taxation within the agriculture and forestry industry.
• Good knowledge of year-end closing and ongoing accounting
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work
• Experience using accounting systems (preferably experience with Fortnox or Wolter Kluwer)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
