Legal Unit Seeks Lawyer Focused on Market Law

The Legal Units primarily work to exercise market law supervision supported by the Marketing Act and the Terms and Conditions Act.

This means we review companies' marketing and terms in standard agreements. Our mission is to ensure that companies comply with consumer protection regulations, and we do this through supervision, information to businesses, and negotiations with industry organizations. The work is conducted both nationally and internationally.

About the Job

The work consists of qualified legal tasks where you will exercise market law supervision supported by, among other things, the Marketing Act and the Terms and Conditions Act.

Examples of Tasks:

Handle supervision cases and participate in supervision projects
Prepare information and participate in information efforts to companies
Participate in negotiations with industry organizations
Respond to consultations
Collaborate with other authorities and organizations, nationally and internationally
Contact with the media

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

You have a university degree in law and preferably education or experience in consumer and/or market law. Experience in qualified investigative work, supervisory activities, or legal processing in an authority is an advantage. You have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English.

About the Employment

Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
The work location is Karlstad.
Start date according to agreement.
Business trips occur, both nationally and internationally.
