Vittra Östertälje is looking for an engaged and experienced craft teacher

Vittra Schools, one of Sweden's leading independent school companies with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Vittra Östertälje is located on the outskirts of Östertälje, in Södertälje municipality. The school is situated next to forests and natural areas, and we have access to outdoor gyms, artificial grass fields, illuminated trails, a sports hall, and the Sörmlandsleden trail directly adjacent to the school.

Vittra Östertälje has had high academic results for several years, and students who are now in high school have returned to us and reported that they feel well prepared for further studies - we are proud of that!

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed and qualified teacher with extensive experience in teaching crafts. We would like you to be confident in your leadership role, have experience with and value working differentiated and with the student's conditions and opportunities in focus.

We want you to be a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with the students and that you are passionate about meeting the students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities.

At Vittra, we strive for an interdisciplinary approach that gives students a holistic view and understanding of how different subjects are connected.

The position includes teaching in both craft subjects and in grades 3-9. The students are divided into half or third groups, in other words, smaller groups in the classroom that enable close pedagogical work.

Close collaboration between work teams and the student health team, with the student at the center, is a given for us.

The proportion of qualified and licensed teachers is very high at Vittra Östertälje. The work teams are composed based on the teachers' competencies and qualifications and are led by team leaders.
