At the Swedish Work Environment Authority, we work together to ensure that no one becomes ill, injured, or dies due to work. Your new job
As an administrator, you will belong to the central region of the inspection department at the Örebro office. You will be part of a group of eight administrators located at our offices in Örebro and Falun. Your manager is based in Örebro. Your role involves providing administrative support to managers and employees.
Your tasks will vary within personnel and economic administration and will include:
- managing expenses and invoices
- processing fee notices
- handling incoming inspection reports from inspection bodies
- distributing incoming documents to the region such as building notifications, tips, referrals, etc.
- managing cases and documents in our diary.
Together with other administrators, you will also support colleagues in the office with tasks such as mail handling, local purchases, and other office-related duties. As an administrator, you will work in various systems, such as Unit 4, Primula, Public 360, Stratsys, in addition to Word, Excel, and Outlook. Much of the work is performed independently, and the majority of support to other employees occurs through email and phone contact.
Your background
The role requires that you have:
- a high school diploma
- at least three years of current experience in a role where administration has been your primary task
- good knowledge and experience of working in various operational systems for personnel and/or economic administration
- good skills in the Office suite, particularly in Word and Excel
- good communication skills to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience working with economic administrative tasks in public operations
- experience in case and document management
- experience providing administrative support to managers and employees

Security clearance with or without background checks may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required. Security clearance is conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

The employment is a permanent position, full-time, and is currently based at our office in Örebro. We apply individual salary setting and a six-month probationary period. Start date is September 1, 2025, or as agreed.

How we recruit
