About the role

As a nurse, you are the spider in the web around the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. You work closely with the unit manager for health and medical care and with group leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our group leaders coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.

Villa Idun is located in a new and well-planned residential area in Enköping, about 35 minutes from Stockholm, with proximity to community services, transportation, and city life, but also to nature. Just a stone's throw away is the train station in Enköping – sometimes called "Sweden's closest city".

Both permanent and short-term places

Villa Idun offers places for the elderly with dementia and care places. In addition to permanent accommodation, there are short-term accommodations.

Your experience and knowledge

• enjoy giving and receiving feedback and breaking down and working towards set goals.

• are solution-oriented and see opportunities rather than obstacles.

• are business-minded by wanting and having the ability to manage and follow up on operations based on quality goals and financial frameworks.

• You are a licensed nurse and have experience in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, and it requires that you have both an overview of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person.
