Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We have a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are now looking for a new team member for the medical group

We have the opportunity to offer you, as a licensed physician, a 6-month temporary position with the possibility of extension at Gimo Health Center, starting by agreement. We offer a varied job both digitally and physically. You will have great opportunities to help develop tomorrow's working methods within our operations, including teamwork with different professional groups. We also have ST and PT doctors on site.

Your mission

You will work closely with all professions at the health center. Your tasks will consist of regular reception work with acute and planned visits as well as minor emergency care. You are also expected to help develop our working methods and influence the operations and work environment.

Your competence

We are looking for someone with an interest in general medicine with Swedish authorization and a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. Swedish C1 is a requirement. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage. You are driven and interested in working in a team. You enjoy working closely with other professionals near the patient and would like to contribute to the development of the operations. Personal suitability will be highly valued.

We offer

We offer a full-time fixed-term employment for 6 months with a start date by agreement. Part-time can be discussed. There are great opportunities for extension and offers of an ST position. We invest in secure employment and good benefit packages through our collective agreement. You will have support and guidance from our general specialists and our ST doctor.

Our operations

Gimo Health Center with branches in Alunda and Österbybruk has about 12,000 registered patients and approximately 60 employees. We have a strong interest in education and research, especially for our own staff. This is highly appreciated by both the nursing and medical staff. We value flexibility, interest in development, and providing good service to the residents. All professional areas within the health center's mission are represented, and we also have a youth clinic. For you, there are great opportunities to help shape the operations and take responsibility for certain tasks or areas of operation.

Gimo Health Center is centrally located in Gimo, 50 km northeast of Uppsala. Alunda DSK clinic is where construction has started for a completely new health center. It is 40 km from Uppsala. Österbybruk Health Center is a small family-oriented health center also located 50 km northeast of Uppsala. From Gimo, it takes 17 minutes, about 20 km by car to the sea and Östhammar.

There are good commuting opportunities to our health centers by bus and car.
