Preschool Teacher Wanted at Campus Preschool

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a preschool where children's learning, cooperation, and participation are at the center! Campus Preschool is located in the heart of Östersund, near Mid Sweden University, and we offer a stimulating work environment where both children and educators can develop together.

We are seeking a qualified preschool teacher for a temporary position at Campus Preschool, from 2025-08-11 to 2025-12-31.

Campus Preschool works with age-homogeneous groups to create a safe and developing environment where each child's unique needs and abilities can be met. We use a process-oriented approach and pedagogical documentation to make children's learning visible and ensure that all children have the opportunity to develop according to their own conditions. An important part of our operations is a reflective culture where educators and children together evaluate and develop the work to continuously improve quality. Our learning environments are flexible and changeable, creating space for curiosity, play, and creativity that contributes to meaningful and joyful learning.

Common Tasks

• Plan and implement activities based on the curriculum.
• Develop pedagogical content that inspires development and learning while stimulating and challenging children's interests, curiosity, and attention.
• Provide each child with safe care and promote all children's development and learning.
• Create learning opportunities based on children's needs and interests so that all children can develop according to their abilities and conditions.
• As a preschool teacher, you will work with your colleagues to plan, teach, document, and evaluate the content of the operations.

Your Competence

Requirements

• Educated and licensed preschool teacher.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work.
• Previous experience in preschool is an advantage.

Through your relationship-building approach, you build trusting and secure relationships, making children feel comfortable and safe in the preschool's everyday life.

You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to them in a sensitive and flexible manner in teaching and the preschool's daily life. You create good relationships and collaborate well with the contacts that occur in your professional role.
