Videgården is a preschool with approximately 72 children. Our preschool is an inspiring workplace where we focus on the children. Everyone should feel that preschool is fun, safe, and educational. We have a language-developing approach and work according to the preschool curriculum. Collegial learning and collaboration are central as we learn from and with each other to develop the operations. Our goal is to create a good education of high quality together with guardians and children, providing our children with the best conditions for lifelong learning. Your new job

We are now looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher for Videgården's preschool.

You will be part of a team where you together plan and are responsible for the children's education and development. We start from the assumption that all children can and want to and that they should be in a context where they have the opportunity to use and develop their skills. You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Common tasks

• Plan and implement activities based on the curriculum.
• Develop pedagogical content that inspires development and learning while stimulating and challenging children's interests, curiosity, and attention.
• Provide each child with safe care and promote all children's development and learning.
• Create learning opportunities based on children's needs and interests, so that all children can develop according to their abilities and conditions.
• As a preschool teacher, you will work with your colleagues to plan, teach, document, and evaluate the content of the operations.

Your qualifications

• Educated and licensed preschool teacher.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work.
• Previous experience in preschool is also an advantage.
• You have personal maturity, enjoy collaboration, and are loyal, flexible, and quality-conscious.

As a preschool teacher, you have a strong empathetic ability and create a safe and inclusive environment where every child is seen and acknowledged. With your pedagogical insight, you adapt teaching to the children's different conditions and create meaningful learning situations through play and exploratory activities. You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner.

You are flexible and adapt to changes, seeing opportunities and finding solutions that promote children's development and contribute to a positive and developing learning environment.

You create good and trusting relationships, making children feel comfortable and secure, as well as their guardians. You collaborate well with colleagues and other contacts that occur in your professional role.
